The Guardian LED Expedition Light is a compact safety signal light built for paddlers who take their time on the water seriously. At just 20 grams, it clips onto your PFD or gear without you ever noticing it's there — until you need it. Waterproof to 100 metres and rated to operate in temperatures as low as -40°C, it's built to handle everything a Canadian paddling season can throw at it.

Switching between steady and flashing modes is handled by a clever reverse polarity mechanism: simply flip the battery. No fiddling with buttons in the dark or with cold, wet hands. The omnidirectional LED is visible up to 5 km away, and with run times of up to 250 hours on a set of standard CR-2032 batteries, you're not going to get caught out on a long trip.

The Guardian works with a range of optional attachments, making it easy to mount to clothing, a life jacket, a dry bag, or your kayak. It's a small piece of kit that earns its spot in your safety arsenal every single time you head out.
