🌪️ Haul Ass, Not Cargo. Speed-First Gravel, Refined.

The Cervélo Áspero Apex XPLR 1 continues its legacy as a gravel race weapon with zero compromises. Born to shake up the gravel scene and now refined with real-world rider needs, the latest Áspero dials in more comfort, control, and future-ready compatibility—without sacrificing its aggressive, speed-driven DNA.

For 2025, the Áspero gets more mud clearance, dropped seatstays for compliance, a threaded T47a bottom bracket, and SRAM UDH compatibility—making it easier to maintain and ready for SRAM Transmission. With internal cable routing, an Apex XPLR 12-speed drivetrain, and wide, tubeless-ready wheels, it’s built for long races, all-day breakaways, and post-ride podium beers.

Why Riders Love It:

Flat-Out Fast – Aerodynamically tuned to save watts on long, windy courses.
More Compliant, More Capable – Dropped seatstays + improved front-end compliance = comfort without softness.
T47a Threaded BB – Easier maintenance with all the BBRight stiffness.
UDH-Compatible – Future-proof for SRAM Transmission or whatever comes next.
Room to Roam – Fits up to 700x44c tires (official), with extra mud clearance learned from the R5-CX.
One Bike, Race or Rally – Purpose-built for high-speed gravel, but just as happy going full-send off-grid.
