The Leica Ultravid 8x32 HD-Plus includes all of the same great features of the Ultravid HD but further improves optical performance by incorporating SCHOTT HT (High Transmission) glass lenses and prisms while applying new coating methods. The prisms are coated in Leica's proprietary P40 Phase-Correction coatings, HLS Anti-Reflective (dielectric) coatings, and the HDC multi-coatings on all surfaces which altogether ensure the absolute minimum impact of stray light and chromatic aberration of your target for clear, bright, well defined images. The SCHOTT HT glass significantly increases light transmission so you can achieve a bright, detailed image even during twilight hours. AquaDura coatings on air to glass surfaces cause water droplets to simply ball up and roll off for clear vision in any condition, while also adding extra protection against abrasions from dust and scratches. 100% Waterproof and Nitrogen purged, with a shock absorbent magnesium housing for an ultra-light binocular at just 18.9 oz.
