The complex Boric Acid formula dries the ear by pulling moisture out without the use of harsh chemicals, such as alcohol or propylene glycol, which can cause ototoxicity and possibly lead to deafness or damage to the ear. Professional Directions

• Lift ear flap to expose ear canal;
  
• Squeeze about 1 oz of cleaning solution into ear canal. Or, saturate a cotton ball with cleaner and wring out cotton ball over the opening of the ear canal;
• Fold ear lengthwise on itself and gently massage the portion of the ear where the vertical and the horizontal ear canal meet for 30 seconds. 'Squishy" noises indicate cleaner is loosening debris;
• Release and let pet shake head to allow debris to natural be removed. Repeat if necessary;
• Discharge present around the ear canal opening can be gently removed with soft cotton.
