Use a screw driver to pry it slightly open then the shade will slide out of the bracket. After the roll shade has been removed you can simply replace the brackets. Install the Clutch and Idle End Brackets. The Clutch Unit Bracket will be on the right side, and the Idle End Unit Bracket should be on the left for standard installation. Top/ceiling Mount If you want your Clutch Unit to hang from the top (for example, the ceiling), you will need to make a simplechange to your Clutch Unit andIdle End Unit before you install your roller shade. To make this change, remove the two screws from both brackets. Turn the Clutch Unit 90 degrees so the clutch eyelet hangs straight down if the Clutch were hang-ing from the top, and turn the Idle End Unit so the openingis facing away from the window. Put screws back in. Left-hand Clutch Control If you want your clutch to be on the left side of your shade,you will need to make a simple change to your Clutch Unit before you installyour shade. To make this change,remove the two screws.Turn the clutch unit 180degrees so the wand eyelet can now hang down from the left side. Putthe screws back in, and tighten. No change is needed to the Idle End Unit, itworks for right and left mounts. Pull out both End Plugs from the tube andswitch them
