Looking for the perfect gift? The iconic Italian rooster jug or 'la brocca del gallo’ has been part of the italian table setting since the 16th century.
It was originally commissioned by the noble Florentine family, the Medici, to artisans as a gift to the peasants as a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
The Rooster Jug is identified by the shape of a rooster and majolica decor however we have reinterpreted the decor to bring it to the IVO table using Ivo Angel's avorio enamel base and splatter decor on the body of the jug. This is a staple piece on the italian table setting and can be used for water or table wine.
Inspired by Italian traditional ceramic making and handmade techniques. All products are 100% lead-free and approved for alimentary use.
