Must Read

Private yet in the midst of it all: since the end of 2016, the new alpine chalets with 18 apartments and double rooms at the Hotel Das Tegernsee have been convincing as an ideal retreat for a break by the lake. The additional living world in a modern alpine style is located below the Sengerschloss and is connected to the other areas of the hotel via a corridor. Guests can enjoy the advantages of their own domicile and, at the same time, if desired, take advantage of all the amenities of Hotel Das Tegernsee, as all facilities can be used. Fine woods and materials from the region as well as light cream and blue tones reflect the Tegernsee valley. Floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious balconies offer an unrestricted view of the water and surrounding mountains. Whether for a week, a month, or a whole year, the double rooms and apartments with lake views ranging from 35 to 120 square meters can accommodate up to eight people. In addition to spacious living, sleeping, and dining areas, the apartments also have a fully equipped kitchenette. If the restaurant or the recently redesigned wellness area beckons, guests can easily access the other areas of the hotel via a connecting corridor. The renowned Munich architecture firm landau + kindelbacher is responsible for the alpine chalets.
