Minor Hotels is proud to unveil its first property under the Tivoli Hotels & Resorts brand in Italy with the opening of Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Resort. Situated in the pristine natural reserve of Duino Cliffs along the Gulf of Trieste, this five-star resort is set to welcome its first guests at the end of June 2023. Formerly a member of the Marriott brand “A Luxury Collection”, the resort has undergone extensive renovations during its temporary closure, now showcasing the refined service and elevated Tivoli standards. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Trieste Airport, guests can reach the charming port city center in approximately 30 minutes and Venice in 90 minutes. Offering 58 rooms and suites, as well as 73 apartments, the resort provides breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the upscale marina. The terraced property features six pools, a private beach club, a 3,600-square-meter spa with indoor and outdoor pools, multiple saunas and steam rooms, and a fitness center. Culinary delights await guests at four restaurants and two bars, while 1,200 square meters of event space spread across the hotel grounds and a pavilion near the beach ensure a complete experience. Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Resort is part of the Portopiccolo complex owned by the Porto Piccolo Fund, managed by Italian asset management company Investire SGR (Group Banca Finnat).
