Set against the backdrop of the dramatic “Sneeuberge” (Snow Mountains), the Karoo Lodge resides within the reserve’s original historic homestead. Following expansion, it now accommodates up to 24 guests across 10 standalone suites.

The tastefully redesigned interiors pay homage to the powerful landscape of the Great Karoo, exuding authenticity and a deep connection to the region’s natural and cultural heritage. In line with sustainability efforts, the new Karoo Lodge operates on 100% renewable solar energy and employs innovative wastewater recycling systems.
