A legendary hotel and spa project is currently being developed in Sweden under the name “The Arctic Bath Hotel and Spa.” In the summer, the hotel floats entirely on the river, while in winter, it is frozen solid in ice, an experience that is currently unique worldwide. Bookings are now available for the first twelve months, from February 2020 to February 2021.

The “Arctic Bath Hotel and Spa” was planned for months, and the construction phase is slowly coming to an end. The creators are confident that they will be able to welcome the first guests to the floating hotel in February 2020. Bookings are now being taken.

The hotel is located in Harads, the heart of Lapland, in Sweden, at the mouth of the Lule River, and the floating hotel stands right on it. The undoubtedly exclusive hotel has only twelve rooms, with six rooms connected to a central floating spa island. In the summer, a floating bridge connects the rooms to the spa island, while in winter, the river freezes over, and guests can walk on the ice between the rooms and the spa island. The other six rooms are located on land.

The spa has four sauna rooms, a cold outdoor bath, and a warm indoor bath. Other spa treatments, such as massages and other therapeutic treatments, are also planned.

Local ingredients are highly valued in the culinary area. The selection of food and beverages will primarily be in the health-conscious segment.
