A whole house to yourself, with a hotel team in the background: that is the idea behind the private homes of Collection Saint-Siméon in and around Honfleur. Five properties now let families and groups of friends stay together in Normandy, sharing breakfast at one table, spreading out through the sitting room and garden, and keeping their own pace. There is no hotel room to return to after dinner: the entire house is yours.

Collection Saint-Siméon is well known on the Normandy coast. It brings together three hotels and a landmark restaurant: La Ferme Saint Siméon, Auberge de la Source, Saint-Delis and Le Vieux Honfleur. With its private homes, which the Collection presents as Les Maisons Privées Normandes, it now adds a more personal way to stay.

A home of your own, with the service of a hotel

The service is that of a hotel. A personal concierge arranges the stay, housekeeping comes daily or on request, and a private chef, wellness treatments and bespoke activities can be added. Guests also get privileged access to the Collection’s Spa Forestier et Potager, its restaurants and its experiences. In the words of the Collection: simply pack, bring your favourite people and let the team take care of the rest.

The experiences are where the Collection’s hotel background shows. Its Clefs d’Or concierge, Laurent Dauvert, designs bespoke programmes for guests, from private visits to the D-Day landing beaches to watercolour classes. A day on the coast, a stroll through the old harbour of Honfleur or a lunch in the garden: the homes are meant as a base for all of it.

Five homes, five characters

Each house has its own personality. La Grande Forge feels like a large family home, with a long wooden table for shared dinners, exposed brick and old timber beams. La Petite Forge has the charm of a Norman cottage, with a half-timbered façade, a dining room around a brick fireplace and a small walled garden.

La Ferme des Muses promises privacy and calm amid greenery, and La Bergerie des Muses looks out over the Normandy countryside from its terrace and large picture windows.

New: Le Moulin de l’Auberge

The latest addition, Le Moulin de l’Auberge, has just opened a short distance from the centre of Honfleur. It has six bedrooms, spacious interiors, a garden and a hot tub, and suits groups who want long lunches, time outdoors and shared moments.

The homes are open all year and sleep between 4 and 14 guests. Dogs are welcome, too. In a region of orchards, hedgerows, shifting light and the nearby sea, every season has its own atmosphere, and the Collection’s idea is simple: to feel at home, even when you are away.
