Singapore Airlines (SIA) has been crowned the world’s best airline at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2023 for the fifth time, reaffirming its commitment to delivering exceptional service and experiences to its passengers.

At this year’s Skytrax Awards, SIA emerged victorious in four categories, securing the top position for Best First Class Airline, Best First Class Comfort Amenities, and Best Airline in Asia. In addition, SIA’s subsidiary, Scoot, was honored as the Best Long Haul Low-cost Airline and claimed the second spot in the “World’s Best Low-Cost Airlines” category.

The Skytrax Awards are based on surveys conducted among over 20 million travelers from more than 100 countries, who evaluated and ranked 325 airlines between September 2022 and May 2023.

On June 20, 2023, Goh Choon Phong, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Airlines, graciously accepted the esteemed “World’s Best Airline” award on behalf of the airline in Paris.
